Your Privacy Choices

You can control how your personal information is used for advertising and analytics. This page explains the choices available and how to exercise them.

What we share, and why

As described in our Privacy Policy, we collect personal information from your interactions with our website, including through cookies and similar technologies. We may share some of that information with third parties, including advertising partners, so that ads you see on other websites are more relevant and so we can measure whether an ad worked.

We do not sell your personal information for money.

Opting out

You can opt out of the use of your information for targeted advertising at any time:

email support@windmiillnursery.co.uk with “Privacy choices” in the subject line, from the address you used to order, and we will action it;
turn on a Global Privacy Control signal in your browser — if you visit us with GPC enabled we treat it as an opt-out request for that browser and device;
use any cookie preference control shown on the site, and block or delete cookies in your browser settings — see our Cookie Policy.

Opting out does not stop you buying from us, and does not affect emails about orders you have placed.

If you are in the United Kingdom or the EU

Under the UK GDPR you have an absolute right to object to direct marketing, and we must stop. You also have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction and portability. Exercise any of them by emailing support@windmiillnursery.co.uk; we respond within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we handle your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.

If you are in the United States

Sharing personal information for targeted advertising based on your activity across different websites may be considered a “sale”, “sharing” or “targeted advertising” under certain US state privacy laws. Depending on where you live you may have the right to opt out of these activities, using any of the methods above.
