Accessibility Statement

We want everyone to be able to browse and buy from windmiillnursery.co.uk, whatever device or assistive technology they use. This statement explains where we are, what we know is imperfect, and how to reach us if you hit a barrier.

Our aim

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. This is a target we work towards continuously rather than a certification we claim to hold.

What we do

keyboard navigation across the shop, basket and checkout;
text alternatives for meaningful images;
a layout that reflows on small screens and supports browser zoom without loss of content;
clear form labels and error messages;
colour choices intended to maintain readable contrast.

Known limitations

We are aware that some areas may not yet fully meet our target, including:

alternative text on some product images is generic and is being rewritten;
some third-party components, such as embedded payment fields and wallet buttons, are outside our direct control;
some longer policy and product tables can be awkward to read at very high zoom levels on small screens.

We would rather state this plainly than claim full conformance we cannot evidence.

Tell us what did not work, on what device, browser and assistive technology. We acknowledge accessibility reports within 2 business days and will tell you what we intend to do and by when.
